Rajitta Hemwaani is a name to reckon with in the Indian music and content business, renowned for her innovative approaches, accomplishments and shattering the glass ceiling.

With three decades of diverse experience in music business, brand building and content creation, she has played a pivotal role in launching new music labels and revitalizing existing businesses with sharp turnarounds.

Starting her career with Tips Films and Music, she has risen up the ranks to launch & spearhead Times Music for the Times of India Group, revived Universal Music Group’s non film content in India and forayed it into regional markets and headed the music business at Disney Star and Reliance Entertainment. She has also played a key role at 9X Media in leading its music and live events and IP business.

Additionally, she has created and led influential brands and IPs like ‘The War of the DJs’ which changed the game for DJs in India and gave India some of its biggest star DJs. She is probably the only one in the Indian music scene who has produced music with hundreds of musicians across age groups, genres and continents for nearly three decades.
